Steve Morrell Neely who now often goes by the Morrell S. Neely is undoubtedly one of the best known and recognized men in industry today. Mr. Neely got his start as CEO of Sereni Tea, a natural tea firm. He went on to found some of the earliest telecommunication firms in the U.S.
His business is currently based in Beverly Hills California but his first companies were located in Chicago and the Midwest region. He founded, and was President and CEO of several early telecommunication companies including Sky World Inc., Number One Wireless and Your Wireless Retailer Inc.. In all he has over thirty years as a leader in the telecommunication industry.
Mr. Neely was the first to establish a mobile phone retail store in the Chicago financial district. He next expanded the Ameritech Cellular Brand which today operates under the name of Verizon Wireless. After that his next store, Sky World Inc. was to become the largest mobile phone dealer in the Chicago region with 68 stores. He opened 150 throughout the Midwest. This chain soon became the top dealer for Voicestream. Today it's known as T-Mobile. By 1995 Steve Morrell Neely had been nominated for the Ernest and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. This is a very prestigious international award. The nomination alone is an honor.
By 2003 Steve Morrell Neely had expanded his operations to the Los Angeles region with Your Wireless Retailer. Introducing the market of Los Angeles and San Bernadino to the mobile phone providers of Sprint. He was so successful that within 30 days he had successfully launched 20 stores in the region. Mr. Neely is known as an innovator for a good reason. He is also known to expand on the more traditional forms of customer service.
By 2005 Mr. Steve Morrell Neely had begun to act as a consultant, assisting hundreds of businesses all around the world. He also has a philanthropic bent. He is a former member of the Chicago Coalition for Homelessness. There he spent three decades helping to provide a good platform for the nonprofit.
